Alex Wood

Alex Wood has been the managing editor for WhatsOnStage since 2021. He joined the organisation in 2017 as an editorial assistant, and has helped steer the site through the pandemic years and during the rebuilding of the theatre eco-system after lockdowns. Publishing news, videos, features and reviews, Alex is also the co-producer of the WhatsOnStage Awards, held for the very first time at The London Palladium in 2024. Alex also co-hosts the weekly WhatsOnStage Podcast, discussing all the latest shows, trends and quirks in the theatre industry.
