To kick off our Regional Theatre Focus in Cardiff this month, we took a tour around the Sherman Theatre with Lynwen Haf Roberts, ticketing and reception assistant at the venue.

Named after Harry Sherman, who financed its construction, the Sherman Theatre opened in 1973 and is made up of two performance spaces – the main auditorium with 452 seats, and the studio which seats between 143 and 163 in the round.
