Judy Garland film starring Renée Zellweger first trailer released

The first trailer has been released for the new Judy Garland film Judy, which is based on the play End of the Rainbow by Peter Quilter.
Directed by Rupert Goold, the film stars Renée Zellweger as Garland as she begins a five-week run in London while battling through drug addictions and strained relationships. The cast also features Finn Wittrock, Michael Gambon, Andy Nyman and Rufus Sewell.

End of the Rainbow earned four Olivier Award nominations when it ran at Trafalgar Studios in 2010, and subsequently played for six months on Broadway starring Tracie Bennett. It first opened in Sydney in 2005.
Judy will be released in the UK on 4 October.
