Kilworth House Theatre announces new season of musical revivals including Grease and 42nd Street

Kilworth House Theatre has announced its 2025 season, presenting two well-known musicals: 42nd Street and Grease.

Producer Celia Mackay will once again work with director and choreographer Lee Proud for both productions, marking their third consecutive season together following productions of Hairspray in 2023 and Singin’ in the Rain in 2024.

Opening the season on 3 June, 42nd Street follows an aspiring Broadway performer catapulted into the limelight. Known for songs like “We’re in the Money” and “Lullaby of Broadway,” the production will run through 13 July 2025.

The season’s second show, Grease, will run from 29 July to 7 September 2025. Set in the world of 1950s Rydell High, the production features classic numbers such as “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightning,” and “You’re the One That I Want.”

Casting and further creative teams for both shows will be revealed in due course.

Tickets for the 2025 season go on sale at 10 am on Tuesday, 5 November 2024.
