The West End cast of Disney’s Hercules answer questions inspired by songs from the show

Recently, WhatsOnStage met the entire principal cast of Disney’s Hercules and presented a Greek cauldron brimming with questions inspired by the much-loved songs from the show.

We sat down with Luke Brady (who plays Hercules in the West End premiere), Mae Ann Jorolan (Meg), Trevor Dion Nicholas (Phil), Stephen Carlile (Hades), Craig Gallivan (as Bob), Lee Zarrett (as Charles), and the Muses – Candace Furbert (Thalia), Sharlene Hector (Clio), Brianna Ogunbawo (Melpomene), Malinda Parris (Calliope), and Robyn Rose-Li (Terpsichore) – and gave them all the opportunity to spread the “Gospel Truth” about themselves.

Disney’s Hercules follows the titular Greek hero as he battles to claim his birthright and strength, while pitted against the villainous Hades. Alongside the music by Alan Menken, it features lyrics by David Zippel (Mulan), and a new book by Robert Horn (Shucked) and Kwame Kwei-Armah (The Visitor). Numbers in the show include “Go the Distance”, “Zero to Hero” and “I Won’t Say (I’m In Love)”.

Disney’s Hercules is set for an official opening night at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 24 June 2025. Tickets for performances through to March 2026 are on sale below.
