Dan trained at Arts Ed. He played the title role in the RSC’s production of The Prince of Homburg for which he was nominated for the prestigious Iain Charleson Award. Other theatre work includes: An Inspector Calls (directed by Stephen Daldry), A Few Good Men with Rob Lowe (directed by David Esbjornson & Aaron Sorkin), Theatre d’ Complicité’s award winning production of Mnemonic, the Globe Theatre’s production of Merchant of Venice with Jonathan Pryce which transferred to Broadway, and Lindsay Posner’s production of the classic farce, Noises Off.
Film work ranges from the rom-com Love Actually, to the thriller Bourne Ultimatum and acclaimed director Costa Gavras’ political drama Adults In The Room.
TV covers everything from recent tennis drama, Fifteen Love (Amazon) to period dramas including the BBC’s adaptations of Jane Austen’s Emma and A Christmas Carol.
He played opposite Tom Conti in ITV drama Donovan and Disney’s Chronicles of Evermoor.
